Opening Div 4 Results

The season has finally begun with the Division 4 teams playing their first league games of the season. In what was probably one of the coldest opening nights Hurricanes and Drizzle both started their 2016 season campaigns.

Hurricanes showed solid defensive work and some good hitting to come away with a 16-1 win over Mayhem Freeze. There were encouraging signs from the new players that had joined the team over the close season.

Drizzle got started with a hard fought 11-11 draw against the Tigers. This is Drizzle's second season of softball and were under their new captain Andrew Bogie. With some new players recruited from over the winter there were encouraging signs for the team and promising signs for the rest of the season.

Our Division 1 & 2 teams start their campaigns next week when hopefully there temperature is slightly higher!
